Ensure Nutrition is a big part in your weight loss goals

Nutrition is the basics of healthy eating and dieting.  Good carbs, like whole wheat bread, fruit, wheat pasta, vegetables, potatoes, rice, beans, oats, and soy provide good nutrition.  A healthy life style should include a balanced diet, which should contain foods from everyone of the food groups. 

Contrary to what some new diets tell you, we all need fat and carbohydrates, but we do not need saturated fat or refined sugar.  These are big causes our diet and weight problems.  Whether we are 5 pounds or 200 pounds overweight, we need a nutritious diet, rich in vitamins, minerals and fiber.  Vegetables and fruit contain a range of nutrients that are essential for efficient metabolism and a healthy diet.

You should limit your fats to good fats, such as those from plants and nuts (natural things), rather than animal fats.  The reason that we call most animal fats, unnatural is the way people raise animals for the butch is not a natural environment.  However, since fat contains more than twice the calories of other foods, it should be eaten in reduced quantities if you want to lose weight.  When eating animal foods, please choose lean foods, like chicken breasts or fish.
